PAX Australia (Penny Arcade Expo) is a gaming event that is celebrating its 13th year, having started in the USA in 2004.
The first Australian PAX event was held in 2013 and has now become the biggest gaming event in Australia with thousands of people attending to check out the latest consoles and games.

PAX brings together publishers, developers and gamers in one huge space where you can find all the latest, as well as classic, games and consoles which are available for play in the Console Freeplay area.
Gamers will also get a first look at heaps of unreleased games and hardware before it hits the market. The perfect place to try before you buy!
PAX Australia will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. There will be a cloakroom available (with a gold coin donation) as well as plenty of seating, beanbags and quiet corners to enjoy the huge variety of games on offer.
You can pick up your showbag through door 1 from 11am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday and between 11am and 6pm on Sunday. You can pick up your badge from the registration desk at the front entrance of the Exhibition Centre on Thursday between 4pm and 8pm, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am.
The easiest way to get to the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre is by tram. Catch the number 96, 109 or 12 tram and get off at Clarendon Street. Alternatively, you can walk just 10 minutes along the Yarra from Flinders Street Station. If you are driving, there are five carparks available in or near the complex.
