During the festival, you will find heaps of food and drink stalls selling Australian, Turkish, Lebanese, Italian and Vietnamese food as well as drinks and sweets for you to enjoy. There will also be craft stalls selling a range of goods as well as second hand goods including clothes and books.
There will also be heaps of performances during the festival, as a number of stages are set up at intersections along Sydney Road where there will be bands, singers and dancers performing throughout the day. There will also be buskers and street performers stationed along Sydney Road which will ensure that there is plenty of music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Patrons should note that this is an alcohol free event; however you are welcome to consume alcohol within the licenced bars and restaurants located along Sydney Road. Dogs are also permitted as long as they remain leashed.
Attendees should also note that Sydney Road is closed from Union Road to Victoria Street in Brunswick so trams and cars will be diverted. Take a train on the Upfield Line from the Melbourne CBD and alight at the Jewell or Brunswick Stations. Alternatively, take a #19 tram (North Coburg) and get off at stop 21 – Glenlyon Road and then walk about 10 minutes to Sydney Road.
