The Malthouse Theatre is one of the oldest theatres and heritage listed sites in Melbourne. In the past, this popular building was once a famous theatre company, with a number of talented groups performing here.

Today, the Malthouse Theatre is dedicated for the development and promotion of Australian contemporary theatre productions.

The Coopers Malthouse Bar is open for Happy Hour, Tuesday to Friday 5pm to 6.30pm.
The café is open from 8am daily and before all performances.
The Avenue Bookstore is open one hour prior to every performance.
