Hoppers Crossing is a residential suburb located 23 kilometres south-west from the CBD, just north of the large suburb of Werribee.

As a fast growing suburb, Hoppers Crossing has a large amount of amenities for its residents as well as a reliable public transport system.

Hoppers Crossing started developing at a rapid pace following the subdivision of land to cater for residential land allotment back in 1963. This growth has since made this one of the most popular suburbs in Melbourne in terms of expansion.

You will find a number of primary and secondary schools here, as well as a post office, banks, restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets. You can do your grocery shopping at Hoppers Crossing Shopping Centre which houses a Safeway Supermarket and a Target. If you are looking for a larger mall, head over to Werribee Plaza which is home to Coles, JB Hi-Fi, Woolworths, Big W and a Village Cinema.

Hoppers is a great place to take kids, as there are a number of parks and playgrounds located here. Hogans Road features a multilevel playground and Woodland Park Drive and Grange Reserve are great spots for a picnic.

Transport options in the suburb include train and bus services with the Werribee train line running through here and stopping at Hoppers Crossing train station.
