Carlton Gardens

Melbourne’s Carlton Gardens were designed back in the 1880s, with the original plans set out for the Melbourne International Exhibition held in that year. Later, the city council declared the gardens and the Exhibition buildings as a heritage listed.

Today, the gardens and the Royal Exhibition Building are actually on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
