During race events, the Caulfield Racecourse can be crowded, but guests will be happy to know that there is a special viewing stand at the venue, known as Rupert Clark viewing stand. After its opening in April 1996, the racecourse became a favourite for Melbournians. In fact, the venue proudly hosts some of the nation’s most popular and historic races. During spring, the racecourse hosts the renowned Caulfield Carnival. This three-day-long event attracts hundreds of visitors from all across the nation.

Besides that, the course also hosts one of the world’s most famous 2,400m horse races – The Caulfield Cup. In summer, the race course becomes a popular spot as it hosts the famous Summer Classic Carnival of Victoria.
