State Netball and Hockey Centre

Tucked away in the verdant grounds of the scenic Royal Park is the State Netball and Hockey Centre, a state of the art sporting facility that hosts an array of sporting events and competitions.

Opened in 2001, the centre boasts indoor and outdoor netball courts, an expansive stadium area as well as a range of amenities for visitors and players.

State Netball and Hockey Centre, Parking & Admission Prices

The main stadium hosts a range of large events as it has the capacity to hold between 1800-3000 spectators. This stadium often hosts netball competitions as well as gymnastics, basketball, boxing, taekwondo, trade shows and function events.

There are also 4 outdoor netball courts located here as well as two hockey pitches. The hockey pitches have ample seating space as well as grassed sections and can also be adapted for other sports including lacrosse, soccer, football training, cricket training and grid iron.

There are also function rooms located inside the centre which are commonly used for conferences, fundraisers, end of year functions, corporate events, seminars and birthdays.

To get there, catch a tram on route #55 and alight at Stop 24. You may also use train services by taking the Upfield line and getting off at Royal Park Station. There are 300 car parking spaces and another 250 overflow spaces available for large events. Parking is free, except during major events.
