The MUFF has been running since the year 2000, so 2019 will mark its 20th year on the Melbourne scene.

Melbourne Underground Film Festival 2019 Dates & Ticket Prices

Celebrating Australian Cinema, MUFF aims to support and promote Australian and International features to an Australian audience and many of the films which make up their programs are being shown to audiences for the very first time.

MUFF also hosts the “Mini MUFF” which are a series of short films. Overall, the festival will play over 100 films each year and will include a variety of genres including comedies, dramas, thrillers and documentaries.

There are a number of venues which MUFF uses to showcase this event including Alex Theatre in St Kilda, Moondog Bar & Space in Abbotsford, Fad Gallery in Melbourne and Howler in Brunswick. There are usually 3 film sessions each night (7pm, 8pm and 9pm) and the festival runs for just over a week.

So gather up some friends and grab your tickets ahead of time. Tickets will be available through Ticketek and/or Moshtix closer to the event.
