The Melbourne Underground Film Festival (MUFF) is an independent festival which shows films in venues around Melbourne from new and upcoming filmmakers.
The MUFF has been running since the year 2000, so 2018 will mark its 19th year on the Melbourne scene.

MUFF also hosts the “Mini MUFF” which are a series of short films. Overall, the festival will play over 100 films each year and will include a variety of genres including comedies, dramas, thrillers and documentaries.
There are a number of venues which MUFF uses to showcase this event including Alex Threatre in St Kilda, Moondog Bar & Space in Abbotsford, Fad Gallery in Melbourne and Howler in Brunswick. There are usually 3 film sessions each night (7pm, 8pm and 9pm) and the festival runs for just over a week.
So gather up some friends and grab your tickets ahead of time. Tickets will be available through Ticketek and/or Moshtix closer to the event.
