4 Melbourne Microadventures You Can Do Tomorrow

Melbourne is one of the most populous cities in Australia, and you bet it’s also a paradise on Earth with an abundance of adventures. Going to your 9 to 5 can be pretty exhausting and toxic for your adventurous spirit. So keep it burning by going on micro-adventures!

Melbourne, Australia may be one of the best places to start a round the world trip, but there’s no need to spend a lot of money to experience the best getaways.

If not, you can always stick to the short, local, simple, cheap yet still exciting, refreshing, fun and rewarding. To help you out, here are four micro-adventures that you can do any day, so you don’t go crazy.

1. Visit the Queen Victoria Market

Go on a shopping spree with a small budget. You’ll be surprised at how many things you can buy with just $50 at Queen Victoria Market. With all the huge number of stalls, it’ll feel like you’re on an adventure of a lifetime. They have accessories, clothes, and some other bric a brac.

Note: Don’t forget to try the hot jam doughnuts from the American Doughnut Kitchen. You get six pieces for only $5!

2. Go on a Road Trip

That’s right. Just like in the movies. Go solo or bring your friends along. Nevertheless, Melbourne has one of the best roads and sceneries. Zoom along the highways into the great unknown. I’m kidding. You can choose to do a short drive or a long one.

Note: If you’re a tourist visiting the city with a non-English driver’s license. Before anything else, you should get it translated first so you can rent a car and be wherever you want to be.

3. Try Mini Golf

At Holey Moley, you can challenge your best friend to a round of mini golf. For just $49.50, try their full 27 hole course. Exciting, huh?

Explore the place. You’ll find a room where gravity is reversed, The Simpson’s lounge room, a 3D Pac man maze, an Iron Throne that’s made of golf clubs and a creepy graveyard with stuffed owls and falling mist.

Note: If you love to sing, Holey Moley also offers karaoke.

4. Bath in a Hot Spring
