Holi Festival Melbourne

Holi is a popular Hindu Festival of Colours celebrated across India. It celebrates the triumph of good over evil and the changing of the seasons from winter to spring.

Back home, Holi is an eventful affair. People from all backgrounds, religions, castes, orientations and political beliefs celebrate by praying around a bonfire after sunset, singing, dancing, and playing with colours.

Holi Festival Melbourne 2024 Dates, Festival of Colours, Docklands

Celebrate three huge full family days, open for all, to witness the tastes, sounds, culture and arts of Indians living in Australia – Live Music, Dance Performances and lots and lots of colours!

This will happen against Melbourne CBD Skyline and Bolte Bridge as the backdrop!

This event is pure tradition, with thousands of attendees sharing their emotions (and pics) with friends & family back home.

Please note that:

  • No Outside Colour Powder is Allowed
  • Kids require adult supervision at all times
  • Please be mindful of others while playing with the dry Holi Colour Powder

Get your Colours, Grab your besties and Jump right into the thick of it, as there is song and dance everywhere!

When you get a breather, browse the stalls, taste some samples, snag a bargain, and get exclusive promos before you jump back into the sights and sounds…

There will not be a dull moment – that is what is promised. The best bit is saved for Last! As an Aussie first, you are invited to Holi After Dark. At 8pm, it’s switch to UV Lights and play Holi with glow-in-the-dark colours! Light shows, special performances, and professional face/body painters to create special designs are in the history books. You’ve got to see it to believe it!

But you can Avoid the queues and enter via separate Entry by getting either a VIP ALL-DAY ACCESS PASS or GUARANTEED EXPRESS ENTRY PASS (both have their own unique perks – and will save you heaps of time waiting in the sun).
