There will also be many performances during the festival, as some stages are set up at intersections along Sydney Road, where bands, singers and dancers will perform throughout the day. Buskers and street performers will also be stationed along Sydney Road, ensuring plenty of music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Patrons should note that this is an alcohol-free event; however, you are welcome to consume alcohol within the licenced bars and restaurants along Sydney Road. Dogs are also permitted as long as they remain leashed.
Attendees should also note that Sydney Road is closed from Victoria Street & Brunswick Road in Brunswick, so trams and cars will be diverted. Take a train on the Upfield Line from the Melbourne CBD and alight at the Jewell or Brunswick Stations.
So come down to the Sydney Road Street Party and celebrate cultural diversity in the cultural hub of Brunswick.
