The original chapel at St Michaels was built in 1839. This chapel was demolished in 1866 when a new church was built. This is the building that remains today and this building is now heritage listed.

Sunday services at St Michaels Church are a refreshing experience. The services commence at 10am and typically merge contemporary presentations with traditional aspects of worship. Add to this the beautiful music and diverse readings and it is easy to see why the church seeks to embrace spiritual growth and individual well-being.

St. Michaels also offers baptisms which usually occur on the second Sunday of every month during the morning service. The church also conducts wedding ceremonies which include use of the church, the minister, the organist, church flowers, rehearsal and administration. The ceremonies typically last for around 30 minutes.
