Oktoberfest West is like a Carnival but with Beer! It’s just about fun and very family-friendly.
The event features the biggest Munich-style beer hall, authentic German beer, European street food, top-class live music and amusements for everyone all day. Best of all, it’s at the most picturesque location overlooking the bay!

Inspired by the traditional Bavarian festival and great beer, Oktoberfest in historic Williamstown sees the amazing Seaworks big shed transformed into the biggest undercover beer hall and beer garden on the water. Experience authentic German food stalls, performers and a marvellous mix of entertainment through the afternoon and evening.
Outside is a wonderful carnival atmosphere, including rides, food stalls, markets, bars and more! The range of traditional German fare and modern street food will have something for everyone!
Oktoberfest is about having fun with your friends and letting your hair down! Expect lots of interaction on the day and some good old-fashioned Oktoberfest games like The Pretzel Pass, Barrel Roll and of course the Schuhplattler competition. Plus, much more!
The large Food area and Marketplace outside Seaworks will also host the 9-hole mini golf, Bucking Bronco and Giant Jumping Castle!
Entry will give you access to a great array of traditional German beers on tap and some local favourites who have brewed some Bavarian-style beers just for the event! The most amazing array of traditional and ‘beer-matched’ international foods will be there! From Sweet and savoury, from Vegan to Gluten Free!
This is a family event so bring the kids because there is lots to entertain them, from face painting, rides and games!
