St Michaels Church is a popular Uniting Church which is located at the corner of Russell and Collins Street, right in the middle of the Melbourne CBD.

The original chapel at St Michaels was built in 1839. This chapel was demolished in 1866 when a new church was built. This is the building that remains today and this building is now heritage listed.

Sunday services at St Michaels Church are a refreshing experience. The services commence at 10am and typically merge contemporary presentations with traditional aspects of worship. Add to this the beautiful music and diverse readings and it is easy to see why the church seeks to embrace spiritual growth and individual well-being.

St. Michaels also offers baptisms which usually occur on the second Sunday of every month during the morning service. The church also conducts wedding ceremonies which include use of the church, the minister, the organist, church flowers, rehearsal and administration. The ceremonies typically last for around 30 minutes.

St Michaels Church is open for tours on weekdays between 10.30 am and 1.30pm. To get there, make your way to 120 Collins Street, Melbourne. Take tram #31, #109 or #112 along Collins Street to the Russel Street stop. Parking is available
