Here, you will find top-quality fruits and vegetables, local produce, organic grains and produce, certified meat varieties and homemade food items. The market takes pride in offering the best quality fresh produce in Melbourne.

Those who love seafood will be happy to know that the market also sells a large variety of fresh sustainable seafood, fish, shellfish and crustaceans. As well as fresh food, you can also buy items ready to eat such as hot food, doughnuts, coffee, cakes and fresh juice.

If you wish, you can also take a guided tour of the market to show you some of the hidden stalls that you may not find on your own. The tour runs on the first Saturday of each month from 12pm (1hr duration) and is absolutely free. Bookings are required and can be made by calling Ph (03) 8290 8220.

The market is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday between 7am – 5pm and on Sunday between 10am – 3pm. The market is closed on Monday and Wednesday. Dogs are only permitted in Market Square if they are secured on a leash. You can park at the Elizabeth Street Multi-Level Car Park at the rear of the Market.
