The RAAF Museum (or the Royal Australian Air Force Museum) is one of the most renowned air force museums in the world; located on the site of RAAF Williams Point Cook Base in Victoria.
The museum is known for its world-famous collections of iconic aircraft and an extensive range of displays and exhibits – from the oldest Australian Flying Corps to the present air force.

The entire museum includes a collection of more than 400,000 small objects, 1 million photographs and 4 million negatives.

Can you advice the best way to go to RAAF Musuem when using public transport from Flinders Street?

I have looked at how you can get to there via public transport and there is really no way you can get all the way there with just trains and buses – you still need to use a car to get the last 5.5km from Point Cook South Terminus / Featherbrook Rd.
The closest you can get via train is Williams Landing, but then you need to take either a combination of bus / taxi, as there is no bus stop nearby.

I have looked into the “Werribee Park Shuttle” that’s mentioned on the official website, but at a cost of $35 per adult, $20 per child Under 10 and $25 per child between 10 to 14, you may as well just take a taxi, or take the train and then taxi the rest of the way.
