A number of internationally renowned chefs and winemakers come to the festival, along with popular local sommeliers, restaurateurs and winemakers from around Victoria. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience many onsite workshops and cook-offs, where you can learn valuable tips and cooking ideas from the celebrity chefs. In 2017, Miguel Maestre, Matt Moran, Manu Feildel, Marion Grasby, Matt Stone and Matt Wilkinson appeared, and there will be plenty more celebrity chefs again in 2018.
Whilst wine lovers will get a chance to taste the latest vintages, foodies will be excited to find a wide range of regional flavors, authentic gourmet foods, as well as ethnic dishes.
Every year, the Good Food & Wine Festival includes a number of world-class programs. Highlights of the event include master cooking classes, cellar door tour events and fun activities for children.
The easiest way to get to the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre is by tram. Catch the number 96, 109 or 12 tram and get off at Clarendon Street. Alternatively, you can walk just 10 minutes along the Yarra from Flinders Street Station. If you are driving, there are five carparks available in or near the complex.
