Melbourne Boat Show

The Melbourne Boat Show is is the largest event for the local marine industry, with thousands of exhibitors gathering in the city to display their latest products and services every year.

Some of the main products exhibited at the show include boating, diving, fishing and sailing equipment, motor boats, jet skis, accessories and yachts.

For the 2017 event, attendees will find all kinds of water craft including kayaks, sail boats, tinnies, ski and wake boats. You will also find a huge range of lifestyle accessories that make recreational boating so exciting. Potential buyers will be able to view these items up close and can buy on the spot!

In addition to the massive exhibition, the boat show also features a variety of competitions. With live demonstrations by the top experts in the industry, the show also offers loads of activities for all and is a great day out for the whole family.

In 2017, presenters will include John “Bear” Willis (MC), Bill Classon (Australian Fishing Network), Peter Hilcke (Sustainable Seafood Chef), Paul Mercurio (TV Personality) and Patrick Dangerfield (AFL Footballer).

The easiest way to get to the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre is by tram. Catch the number 96, 109 or 12 tram and get off at Clarendon Street. Alternatively, you can walk just 10 minutes along the Yarra from Flinders Street Station. If you are driving, there are five carparks available in or near the complex.
