Opened in 1997, Kirra Galleries has operated with an emphasis on glass, sculpture and jewellery artworks. Explore the galleries and marvel at the wondrous collection of art, ranging from spectacular glass art to sculptures and fine handmade jewellery.

Kirra Galleries hosts several exhibitions each year in order to feature Australia’s diversity in contemporary works. Different artists working with different materials are featured each year, so check out the scheduled exhibitions to see if one is showing whilst you are in Melbourne.

If making a purchase of a piece of art, gift wrapping is offered. Free freight is also offered to anywhere in Australia for purchases over $250, otherwise delivery will cost $15.

You can find Kirra Galleries on the ground floor of Federation Square, with access via the Atrium (on Flinder’s Street, opposite Hosier Lane).

Get to Federation Square by taking a train and alighting at Flinders Street Station, Federation Square is directly across the road. Trams and buses also frequent this part of the city. For those driving into the city, there is a car park located right next to Federation Square. The Fed Square Car Park is open 24 hours and is accessible from Russell Street or Batman Ave (Exhibition Street extension – City Link) and has a flat rate of $16.00 on weekends and Friday evenings after 4pm. Enter after 4pm during the week and parking is only $13.00.
