In January each year, Melbourne Park becomes an international hot-spot as it hosts the famous Australian Open tennis tournament.

The venues within Melbourne Park are well utilised by many popular international performers as they boast a large seating capacity, as well as the best facilities.
Some of the arenas have retractable roofs, which mean that they are able to be utilised all-year-round. In particular, Rod Laver Arena is known to sell out during the Australian Open tennis, as well as during concerts for international artists – so it always pays to book tickets well in advance.
