The Jam Factory

In line with current Australian Government advice, cinemas, gyms and indoor sporting venues, as well as pubs, entertainment venues and night clubs are closed. Beauty, massage, tanning, nail and waxing salons, tattoo parlours and spas are closed. Hairdressers and barbershops are open, with the provision that the “one person per four square metre” rule applies. Food court retailers are permitted to operate takeaway and delivery services for customers, however food court seating areas are closed. Some of the other restaurant and cafe retailers are also providing takeaway, if they can.

The Jam Factory is a shopping complex and entertainment destination located on the famous Chapel Street in South Yarra.

With a large 15 screen movie theatre, heaps of restaurants and a variety of retail stores, the Jam Factory is a popular hangout spot for those visiting Melbourne.

If you are looking for some retail therapy, you will find a Target, Cue, TopShop and Nine West here. If looking for a quick snack, there are plenty of options including Boost Juice, Shuji Sushi and Rolld. If you want to have a sit-down meal, there are heaps of restaurants located here including TGI Fridays and Nandos.

As for services, the Jam Factory has plenty of ATM’s, clean toilets and parents facilities. There are also 970 undercover parking spots available and the car park is open 24 hours a day. The first hour is free and $5.00 for up to 3 hours. Evening and weekend rates also apply.
