If you have kids, then bringing them to Caribbean Gardens is definitely a great choice. While you browse through the different stalls, kids can enjoy a train ride or play on the play equipment. The train takes guests throughout the large property on a custom built train track – passing around the beautiful Lake Caribbean. When the train ride is over, kids can enjoy a jungle river cruise. If that’s not enough, take your kids on a chairlift ride to enjoy the best panoramic views of the area.
Caribbean Gardens has something for each age group. Whether you’re here for shopping, a bit to eat, or just looking to spend a day out of the house, you’ll find everything you need here to have a wonderful day.
Visitors to Melbourne should certainly plan to spend a day at Caribbean Gardens. If shopping is not what you’re after, relax at the gardens and enjoy have a picnic with your family and friends.
Good morning am wanting to know if the children’s park still has the hippos and other creatures on the lake etc that used to be there when the park first opened. I would like to take my young grandsons there to see what their Dad had fun doing.
Hi Joan,
Yes! Having done the Jungle Cruise ourselves fairly recently there were many animals still on display. The kids will love it!
Enjoy your day at Caribbean Gardens!
Regards,
Jess
