SEXPO

SEXPO is an adults-only sexuality, health, and lifestyle exhibition that runs most years at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

SEXPO aims to remove adult products from adult stores and present them to the public in a comfortable and fun atmosphere.

The all-inclusive SEXPO Australia is different, and it’s not JUST about sex!

It’s a celebration, a commemoration, a shame-free event and a tribute to all thoughts, feelings, lifestyles and sexualities. There’s something for everyone at SEXPO, and everyone is accepted. It’s about Education; it’s about Empowerment; it’s about Exploration; it’s about Celebrating what makes you, YOU!

  • Sorry, I’m about to ask you a question I’m sure you’ve been asked a hundred times before.
I’m interested in one of you workshops on Saturday afternoon and am wondering what the best way to go about attending this is? Or if there will be an additional fee/ticket required. I was planning on buying a general admin ticket, is this correct of should i purchase differently?
I’m having some difficulty navigating the information page and am unable to find this information.

    • Hi Sandra,

I can see the trouble you were going through. I have gone through the entire Sexpo website and month’s of their Facebook page and can’t find an answer either.

Looking at the different ticket classes, there are mentions of all of these extra things, but nothing mentioned about gaining access to the workshops.

Based on this fact, my assumption is that all of the workshops are free to attend and included in the general admission ticket. Having gone in previous years, i know the main stage is part of admission, so i don’t see why the talks would be.

      Thanks
      Michael

    • Hi Madeleine,

I only just checked all of the details last night and unfortunately, there hasn’t been any information released as of yet.

Be that the Melbourne event was cancelled in 2018, there isn’t even a section on the official website anymore that refers to Melbourne.

I’d suggest following their social media channels or joining their mailing list, and you will be notified as soon as something is announced.

Other than that, I’ll be checking on this frequently and will update this website as soon as anything new becomes available.

      Thanks
      Michael

  • The reason there was no sexpo in Melbourne 2018 is because 2017 was a flop. Stall holders were promised it was a near sell out event yet barely no-one turned up!
No decent advertising was done for this melbourne event. Thousands of our exhibitors dollars were wasted!!

        • Hi Max,

I have looked through all Sexpo media releases on their website, Googled any news and also checked their social media profiles and can’t see any information regarding the cancellation of the Melbourne event in 2018.

However, I have looked through our email archives, and its appears that a representative from Sexpo contacted us earlier in the year, simply stating “We won’t actually be holding a show in Melbourne this year”.

Sorry I can’t be of any more help.

          Thanks,
          Michael

    • Hi Damez,

Melbourne Sexpo will be held in November 2018 (date to be confirmed.) In previous years, tickets have been $25-28 for general admission.

Check back with us and I will update the page once the dates are confirmed.

      Best regards,
      Jess

        • Hi Sue,

Not sure why there is no Melbourne Show in 2018, there may have been scheduling issues with the Exhibition Centre. The organisers of the event might be able to enlighten you, you can contact them here. The next show is scheduled for Adelaide on 10-12 August 2018 and then it heads oversesas.

          All the best,
          Jess

  • Good day
