Bluethumb Art Prize 19 Exhibition – 2019 Dates, Prize Money & Program

Building on the overwhelming success of last year’s prize and exhibition, the Bluethumb Art Prize 19 Exibition continues to offer a large money pool and introduced category awards to give more artists the opportunity to step into the spotlight in 2019.

Prizes of $2,000 will be awarded in each of the following categories: Works on Canvas Award, Works on Paper Award Photography Award, Other Media Award and the People’s Choice Award (voted by the public). The overall Bluethumb Art Prize of $10,000 will be awarded to the work considered by the judges to be the most outstanding across all categories.

This exhibition showcases the finalists selected by an eclectic judging panel of 12 industry experts, including Penny Griggs, General Manager of SALA (South Australian Living Artists Festival); June Mills, Indigenous music star, visual artist and traditional owner of Larrakia land; and qualified art curator and Real Housewives of Melbourne star, Gina Liano.
