Robyn Archer, an arts luminary in her own right, is credited with organizing the Light in Winter Festival. Archer brings together local and international acts on one platform, giving visitors the experience of a lifetime. The best thing about the festival is that it offers free entry for the night time events.
The Solstice celebration also attracts many visitors, and for good reason. The Solstice presents the longest night of the year before ushering a night of celebrations, good food, music and great company.
The festival is located in Federation Square, which is easily accessible by public transport (Flinders Street Station) or visitors can park their car in the Federation Square car park for a fee.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars within the Federation Square precinct, so come and spend a night at this wonderful event.
